LMS set to host Dirt Wars

Lancaster Motor Speedway will host the NDRA Dirt Wars on Saturday night, Sept. 15.

The NDRA Dirt Wars will be for the NDRA GM Performance Late Models, with $3,000 going to the winner.

Some of the area’s top drivers are expected to be at Lancaster, with local fan favorites Timbo Mangum, Brandy Baker and Ben Watkins set to defend their home turf against the likes of Dennis “Rambo” Franklin, Kenny Ramsey, Steve Banal, Ross Bailes, Jeff Smith, “Big A” Anthony Sanders, “Downtown” Michael Brown, Gib Gibbons and many more.

This will be an action-filled race with a lot of great drivers going for the $3,000 prize.

Support divisions running Saturday night will be Super Street with $750 to win, Crate Sportsman $650, Pure Street $550, FWD/UCARS $300 and Vintage.

A $100 new winner bonus will be on the line in each division.

Gates open at 4 p.m. for the pits and 5 for the stands.

The admission is $25 for the pits and $15 for the stands.

If you missed any of the racing action from any race this year, Jackie Sims will have DVDs for sale in the pits and grandstands for $10.
