LHS wrestlers split in home matches

Lancaster split a pair of wrestling matches in a home tri-match Tuesday night.The Bruins blitzed Class AA Central of Pageland, 78-0, but dropped a 43-31 Region III-AAAA loss to Northwestern High of Rock Hill.In the win over Central, LHS had nine forfeits. Pin winners included Justin Smith, Tyrese White, Marquis Perry and Donald Heath.In the Northwestern match, Lancaster bolted to a 21-0 lead, but the Trojans rallied for the 12-point win. Pin victors against the Trojans were Clay Rollings, Casey Truesdale and Joe Craig.
