The Lancaster Lady Bruins rolled to a 27-2 win in five innings over the Spartanburg Lady Vikings in prep softball action at Spartanburg on Friday night.
The game was halted in the fifth inning due to the 10-run mercy rule.
Katy Ghent, in five innings, hurled the win as she faced 21 batters and allowed two runs and three hits. She fanned five batters in the victory.
Ghent aided her cause with two hits, including a three-run home run, to go with three RBIs and three runs scored.
