Lancaster High School hailed star athletes at the Bruins' annual fall-winter sports awards night Thursday in the LHS auditorium.
Standouts in 11 varsity sports as well as top junior varsity and B-team performers were saluted. Coaches also presented letter plaques and participation certificates.
Senior quarterback Taniel Massey was named the Bruins' football Offensive MVP, while defensive lineman Tyler Canty earned the Defensive MVP.
Junior guard Michael Catoe was selected the boys basketball MVP, and senior Miteka Trueheart reaped the girls basketball MVP.
