LHS girls battle Clover to draw

Lancaster and Clover battled to a 1-1 draw in a Region III-AAAA girls soccer match at Memorial Stadium on Monday night.

Lancaster, which dropped a 2-1 loss to the Clover girls last month, drew first blood as Lena Pringle scored on an assist from Frances Whitesides.

Lancaster held a 1-0 lead at the half and Clover tied the match with a goal early in the second half. The match stayed deadlocked the rest of the way.
