HEATH SPRINGS – The county’s smallest town might be diminutive in size, but Heath Springs is attracting boastful economic development.
At the Tuesday, Jan. 21, Heath Springs Town Council meeting, Keith Tunnell, president of Lancaster County Economic Development Corp., had a dose of good news for town officials.
LCEDC, along with Lynches River Electric Co-op, will ask the state for money to build a 50,000-square-foot spec building at the northern end of the Heath Springs Industrial Park to attract more businesses, Tunnell said.
