The University of South Carolina at Lancaster baseball team raised its record to 7-4 with a sweep of the Coker College junior varsity on Thursday afternoon at the Lancaster High School baseball field.
The Lancers posted a 7-4 win over the Junior Cobras in the opener and completed the sweep with a 9-3 win over visiting CC.
In the nightcap, southpaw Andrew Ansely moved his mark to 3-0 with three innings of work in the six-run win. Ansley allowed two runs, two hits, four walks and an earned run. He fanned two.
