The University of South Carolina Lancaster Lancers split four games in a weekend series with USC Salkehatchie in Allendale.
The 13th-ranked Lancers, 27-6, 9-3, split a twin bill on Saturday and took one of two Sunday afternoon.
In the opener Sunday, the Lancers edged the Indians, 8-6.
Stuart Pound’s three-run home run in the fifth inning gave the Lancers the lead for good at 7-6 and they added another for the victory.
Randy Luckett, who was 2-4 with four RBIs, had a single and belted a three-run home run.
