Lancaster SCJGA chapter visits Chester

The Lancaster chapter of the S.C. Junior Golf Association played its fourth event of the season at the Chester Golf Club on July 9. The golf course was in great condition and the weather cooperated with temperatures a little cooler than had been seen for the past two weeks.
Play in all age groups was good. One of the highlights was Haley Thurmond chipping in from 50 yards on the par 4 fourth hole. She plays in the 8 and 9 year-old girls division.
