Lancaster man wanted in York County assault

York County authorities are still searching for a Lancaster man wanted in connection with attacking and holding a woman at knife point in Rock Hill earlier this month. 

The York County Sheriff’s Office is on the hunt for JaTaune Tyrone Richardson, 35, of 3546 Shiloh Unity Road. 

Richardson is charged with aggravated criminal domestic violence and kidnapping. The charges stem from an extended attack Aug. 12 on a 26-year-old woman inside a car, at a highway weigh station and at a Rock Hill campground.
