Lancaster High swim team sweeps in opener

The Lancaster High School swim team rolled in its opener Thursday, Aug. 30.

The Bruins topped the three-way meet with 240 points, followed by Hartsville 42 and Chester 9.

Following are the meet results:

200 medley relay – LHS girls 1st, 2nd, 3rd

200 medley relay – LHS boys 1st, 2nd, 3rd

200 free girls – 1. Michaela Burton, 3. Rochelle Jewett, 4. Kaila Hayden

200 free boys – 1. Adam Augeson, 2. Kenneth Martin, 3. Noah Phillips

200 IM girls – 1. Gracie Scott, 2. MaKenzie Henry, 4. Hailley Burton
