Lancaster County’s jobless rate falls again

Following statewide and national trends, Lancaster County’s unemployment rate fell a few percentage points from October to November 2012.

The S.C. Department of Employment and Workforce released the most recent statistics late last month.

Lancaster County posted an 11 percent jobless rate for November, down from the 11.2 percent posted in October.

By comparison, the November 2011 unemployment rate for the county was 12.6 percent.
