Lady Vols rally, top BHS

The Andrew Jackson Lady Volunteers rallied from an early 2-0 deficit to take a 6-2 comeback softball win over Buford on Tuesday night.

The Lady Vols’ four-run win kept them in contention for the Conference VIII-AA title.

AJ faces Cheraw on Thursday at the CHS field where the title will be decided.

Chelsea Vincent hurled a four-hitter and fanned seven for the AJ girls, who improved to 14-8, 5-2.

Jena Hallman took the loss, allowing nine hits and five walks. She fanned six for Buford.
