INDIAN LAND – A key turnover turned away Indian Land’s hopes of a football win Friday night at the IL Reservation where the Lewisville Lions roared to a 42-7 win.
Lewisville’s Malcolm Means took the wind out of Indian Land’s momentum drive, intercepting IL’s Dalton McGuirt’s pass and returning it 75 yards for a touchdown early in the third period.
The pick six gave Lewisville a 28-7 lead on its way to the 35-point win over host IL.
