KERSHAW – It appears Kershaw officials align with Lancaster County’s desire to restrict smoking in public places.
On Feb. 21, Kershaw Town Council unanimously passed first reading of an ordinance to disallow smoking in all public-access places in the town limits.
The vote was 6-0, as Councilman Michael Cook was absent from the Feb. 21 meeting.
There was no discussion on the matter before the vote.
