Kershaw Town Council election set for March 19

KERSHAW – Though interest was minimal to none at first, there have since been some residents to file for the three Kershaw Town Council seats up for election this year.

Three of the seven council seats are up for re-election in March – District 3, District 4 and one of the two at-large seats.

“Filing is picking up in District 3 but the other districts still only have one person,” said Town Administrator Bryan Pettit.

For District 3, Jody Connell filed Jan. 22, Charles R. Stroud filed Jan. 23 and William H. Walters II filed Monday, Jan. 28.
