KERSHAW – Kershaw Town Councilwoman Sonya Poole fears someone will one day be seriously injured by a vicious dog that freed itself from a chain.
The fear of potentially dangerous animals was discussed at length Monday evening, Aug. 20, during Town Council’s monthly meeting.
Council members are looking at the possibility of a new town ordinance that would prohibit the tethering (chaining or roping) of certain animals. They say it’s easy for many of them to free themselves from the tether.
