Kershaw Elementary nurse wins state award

KERSHAW – Kershaw Elementary School nurse Susan Plyler was recently named the S.C. School Health LPN of the Year.

The accolade was given last month by the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control and the S.C. Department of Education.

This is the first time a school nurse in Lancaster County School District has received the award.

Every school district can nominate a licensed practical nurse or a registered nurse. There is a separate award for each category.
