The Lancaster Soil and Water Conservation District, the SC Department of Natural Resources and Town of Kershaw have planned a hunter’s education class on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Kershaw Country Club (at the Kershaw Golf Course). The class will be taught by the S.C. Department of Natural Resources for ages 12 and older.
The class is free. Snacks and drinks are allowed.
Students may bring their own lunch, or leave for lunch and return if they have transportation.
Any potential hunter born after June 30, 1979 is required to take the hunter education class before he or she can receive their hunting licenses.
Some states require this course before purchasing their hunting license. The deadline to register is today, Oct. 31.
The class is limited to 40 people.
