The Buford juniors captured the annual Buford High School powder puff football game with an exciting 12-6 win over the seniors.

Carley Bailey hit Alicia Wright on a 20-yard pass to give the juniors a 12-6 overtime win.

In regulation, Hannah Knight dashed 13 yards to give the seniors a 6-0 lead.

The juniors tied the game to force the OT as Bailey hit Wright on a 20-yard touchdown pass.

The same junior combo clicked again in the play-off period to decide the game.

The BHS junior team captured an overtime win over the scrappy freshmen to advance to the title game.

Carley Bailey’s 26-yard run tied the game at 26-all and the juniors took the win in OT because they had scored in several different ways.

The junior jumped to a 6-0 as Bailey hit Danielle Beard on a 30-yard pass play.

In the seesaw game, the freshmen answered with Mallory Jones racing 50 yards to tie the game at 6-all.

Bailey then connected with Beard on a touchdown pass to put the juniors up, 12-6.

The freshman then countered as Courtney Snipes scored from two yards out.

Snipes hit Sonya Ramsey on the two-point conversion to give the freshmen a 14-12 edge.

Beard scored on a 30-yard run and then added the conversion to give the juniors a 20-14 lead,

The freshmen then came back to deadlock the game and force the extra period as Ramsey tallied on a one-yard run.

The juniors and freshmen swapped scores in the overtime before the juniors prevailed to earn the right to play the seniors.

Snipes hit Breanna Dingler to give the freshman a 26-20 overtime lead before Bailey’ 26-yard dash tied the game.

The junior team won on their offensive prowess in the game.

The seniors earned the right to face the juniors with a 20-0 win over the sophomores.

Knight tallied on a yard run and added the conversion for an 8-0 lead.

The versatile Knight then dashed 30 yards for a touchdown to give the seniors a 14-0 lead at the half.

 Knight struck again in the second half as she raced 15 yards to seal the 20-0 win.
