The Lancaster County Registration and Election Commission would like to thank everyone involved with the success of the Democratic and Republican primaries on June 10. From the poll managers and election technicians to the candidates and voters, the election process went very smoothly.
The candidates and all their supporters were well prepared and obeyed all the rules.
Three precincts, Hyde Park, Pleasant Valley and Pleasant Valley II, experimented with a new electronic poll book. The poll managers appreciated how it sped up the qualifying process for the voters. It also helped if the voter was at the wrong polling place.
Hopefully, we’ll be able to bring the Electronic Voter Registration List (EVRL) to your precinct in the near future.
Our commission, along with all the poll managers, would like to tell County Administrator Steve Willis and County Council how much we all enjoyed the lunch on Election Day. Sometimes we’re so busy at the polls it’s hard to take time to get anything to eat and the lunch was very much appreciated.
Since everything went so great, we are hoping this is a good sign for the November general election. If you experienced any problems or have any questions, please feel free to call the Voter Registration Office at 285-2969.
