A Lancaster man faces multiple drug charges following a joint investigation by the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office and the State Law Enforcement Division (SLED).

Samuel R. Wade, 34, 1520 Magnolia, was charged with three counts of trafficking cocaine, including two counts of 10 to 28 grams and one count of more than 28 grams, according to a press release issued  by the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday, May 7.

The release said confidential informants bought drugs from Wade on three separate occasions.

Wade’s bond was originally denied and he was jailed at the Lancaster County Detention Center. However, his bond amount was reduced to $50,000 surety and he was released Monday, May 5.

“Investigations like these show the cooperation between agencies,” said Lancaster County Sheriff Barry Faile. “We are thankful for the partnership with the State Law Enforcement Division and are pleased to get this individual charged with some serious offenses.”
