James Donald Powers, 72

James Donald Powers, 72, of Lancaster passed away Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at Springs Memorial Hospital.
He was born January 8, 1940 in Lancaster, a son of the late G. W. Powers and Mary Lee Jowers Powers Mattox. He was a member of Union Baptist Church and was a retired truck driver for Springs Industries.
A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Powers was Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012 at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Jackie Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
