Buford broke open a tight Region IV-AA baseball game, igniting for five runs in the sixth inning on the way to an 8-4 win over county foe Andrew Jackson on Friday night at Buford Park.
BHS, up 3-1, rallied for the five spot to forge an 8-1 lead on the Vols.
AJ rallied for three in the top of the seventh, but the Jackets had done too much damage the inning prior to take the win.
