Jackets drop pair to Knights

BOONETOWN – Buford’s road trip to Class A foe North Central resulted in a pair of losses to the Knights on Friday night.In the opener, the NC girls downed the Lady Jackets 39-27. The BHS boys dropped a 72-62 loss to the Knights.In the boys’ game, the third period proved to be the difference.North Central held a 37-35 edge at the break and came out with a crucial 14-5 run in the third period to take a 51-40 lead.“We came out a little flat in the second half and had some key turnovers,” BHS coach Jeff Moyer said.
