State Baseball Playoffs

By The Staff

The Buford High School baseball team returned to Greenville on Tuesday in hopes of staying alive in the Class A Upper State playoffs.

The Jackets, who entered the double-elimination tournament as the fourth seed out of Conference III-A, are 1-1 in postseason play.

The Jackets, 9-10, made the trek to Greenville to face Greenville Tech Charter on Monday and were off to a solid start.

Buford held a 5-0 lead in the first inning with runners at second and third, but at that point, the rain arrived and washed out action.
