IL students show team spirit through food drive

INDIAN LAND – No matter the outcome of the Carolina-Clemson football game on Saturday, Carolina was the winner at Indian Land Elementary School.

Students were challenged to do a canned food drive to benefit HOPE in Lancaster on Nov. 17. To take the excitement up a notch, the students were told to bring in cans for their favorite team, either the University of South Carolina or Clemson University. The two rivals face off at noon Saturday at Clemson’s Death Valley.
