Lancaster County officials are making preparations for a new Indian Land convenience site in anticipation of the current location's pending closure.
The current Indian Land convenience site at 401 Jim WIlson Road has been under lease to the county for several years.
County administrator Steve Willis said the property's new owner, Lennar Homes, notified the county about a year ago that the site would have to be moved.
