IL’s Truesdale, BHS’ Stephens lead AA track state qualifiers

Indian Land High School sprinter Rondreas Truesdale and Buford High School sprinter Anthony Stephens led the county athletes in the Class AA Upper State track meet at Broome High School last Saturday.

The top four qualifiers in each event move on to the state track meet at Spring Valley High School on Saturday, May 12.

Truesdale ran a 15.05 to win the 110-meter hurdles at Broome High School on Saturday.

Stephens won the 400-meter dash in 49.61. Stephens also was third in the 100-meter dash in 11.10 and placed third in the 200-meter dash in 22.34.
