HEATH SPRINGS – On Dec. 6 and 7, the Heath Springs train depot will be transformed into a North Pole Adventure to accommodate this year’s L&C Santa Express.

With festive decorations and volunteers in costumes, this area of historic Heath Springs will be a winter wonderland that promises to amaze children and adults alike.

Visitors can expect entertainment such as the trackless train sponsored by Founders Federal Credit Union, fun horse and cart rides, giant inflatables, souvenir ornament-making, games and a chance to have a picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Food will also be available.

The North Pole opens at 10 a.m. and will remain open until 6 p.m. on both days.

You don’t have to ride the L&C Santa Express to visit the North Pole Adventure in Heath Springs.

The  events are provided through support from the city of Lancaster, Lancaster County, the town of Heath Springs, L&C Railway, Founders Federal Credit Union, Duke Energy and See Lancaster.

For details, call Carrie Miller of See Lancaster at 286-1145, extension 22, or e-mail her at cmiller@seelancaster.org.
