Heath Springs council adopts new pay ordinance

HEATH SPRINGS – No show. No pay.

That’s the new expectation in Heath Springs as a new ordinance comes on the books regarding meeting attendance.

On Tuesday, Sept. 18, Town Council unanimously approved final reading of an ordinance that withholds a councilman or councilwoman’s pay if he or she misses a regular monthly meeting.

All five council members attended Tuesday’s meeting.
