RICHBURG – In Chester County’s only competitive race on Tuesday, Nov. 5, James Harris won another term as mayor of Richburg.
Harris tallied 73 votes while his challenger, Dr. Gerald Hensley, received 12 votes.
Harris’s upcoming two-year term will be his third full term in office. Harris first became mayor in a special election held in 2008 to fill out the unexpired term of long-time mayor John Boyd McCrorey, who passed away while in office.
Harris said he was humbled by the show of faith voters gave him.
