BLACKSBURG – Blacksburg’s Nick Hames produced big play after big play to spark the host Wildcats to a 32-14 win over Indian Land on Friday night at BHS’s Campbell Stadium.
The Wildcats’ win gave Blacksburg its first win over IL since 2002.
Hames keyed the Cats, 1-1, with a 65-yard punt return for a touchdown and an 83-yard pass reception in the 18-point win.
“That Hames is a heck of a player,” IL coach Mike Mayer said. “He really hurt us tonight.”
