The race for the S.C. Senate District 16 seat is being hard fought. After seeing and listening to the contenders, my thoughts are that several are strong, some are weak and one’s residency is in question. So, who is the strongest of the strong? I am convinced that Greg Gregory is the man for the job.
His prior service in the seat speaks to his understanding of how our state government works. When he sits down in Columbia he will be bringing with him 16 years of experience and connections. He is a strong advocate for reorganizing our state government so that someone will be held responsible for each and every agency. He has worked closely with the state in locating business and industry in our district. Serving on the USC board of trustees is just the latest step in his family’s supporting the University of South Carolina at Lancaster from its beginnings. His efforts in protecting our natural resources have been outstanding.
The state Senate is not just another entity. It is the most influential body in our state government. We need to put the most qualified of the contenders in that seat.Greg Gregory is the man for the job.
