Lancaster County First Steps has received a series of grants that will enhance its services as it prepares to move into a new building in January.
The child school readiness agency's office has been housed on Arch Street for years and will move to a Wylie Street location – providing space for more than 60 child-care workers to train, a new parenting resource center and extra space for storage.
"We have looked for a location for about a year," director Lora Bryson said. "We're very excited to be able to have space that we can utilize in a more efficient manner."
