Fort Lawn makes sewer payment, discusses signs at Wagon Wheel to curb cut-through speeding

FORT LAWN – Fort Lawn continues to make progress as officials recently increased the town’s sewer fund and look for ways to address drainage problems in the area.

Fort Lawn Mayor John Rumford informed  Fort Lawn Town Council at the Nov. 12 meeting the town made a $5,008 payment to the Lancaster County Water and Sewer District on Oct. 16 for treatment costs. 

The current balance in the sewer fund is $7,106, a number which Council members commented they have not seen in recent months.
