PRINCETON, W. Va. – Freshman linebacker Ervin Moore has been named the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday.
Moore, a native of Lancaster, where he played for the LHS Bruins, played an instrumental role in helping the Concord University football team earn a 23-16 victory over West Virginia State this past weekend.
After trailing Concord 14-7 heading into halftime, West Virginia State managed to score a field goal and a touchdown in the third quarter to take a 16-14 lead.
