An annual fire chiefs conference was a boon for Lancaster County, with more than $61,000 generated in sales among several local businesses.
The results of this year’s S.C. Fire Chiefs Association conference, held Oct. 13 through 16 at the University of South Carolina at Lancaster, were presented to County Council on Tuesday night.
The annual conference, usually held in larger cities in the state, gives chiefs statewide a chance to come together for training, education and exposure to new fire service-related products.
