Faulkenberrys celebrate 75 years

Jones Allen and Evelyn Bailey Faulkenberry celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary on April 7, 2013.
A reception in their honor was given by their children at the home of Haskell and Sandi Faulkenberry.
The Faulkenberrys were married April 2, 1938, in Camden.
The couple has five children, Mitchell M. Faulkenberry and his wife, Lynda; Dixie F. Roberts and her husband, Bobby; Haskell C. Faulkenberry and his wife, Sandi; Nelson A. Faulkenberry; and the late Joan F. Armstrong and her husband, Tony Armstrong. They have eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Jones retired from Morrison Textile Machinery Company where he worked as a machinist. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in the Pacific during World War II. Evelyn is a homemaker, a loving wife and has always been a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt to a large extended family and a friend to many.
