Faulkenberry Christmas Basket tops $2,600 mark

In the second week of donations, the annual Ward Faulkenberry Memorial Christmas Basket has collected more than $2,600 in total contributions.

HOPE (Helping Other People Effectively) in Lancaster, a non-profit, faith-based organization, provides short term emergency assistance to families in crisis. HOPE organizes this annual project and money raised through the Christmas Basket fund is used to buy food for needy families. 

Rhonda Hare, co-interim executive director of HOPE in Lancaster, expressed appreciation to the community for its outpouring of support.
