Dixie Darlings state champs

The Lancaster Dixie Darlings all-stars earned a bid to the world series in Georgetown, on July 27-Aug. 2 by capturing the state championship in Hanahan on Wednesday.
The all-stars claimed that right by winning five games during the five-day tournament, from July 7 to July 11.
Lancaster’s first win came July 7, when the girls defeated Midland Valley, 20-7.
On July 8, they lost to Aynor, 5-4.
