A few dozen teaching positions will be eliminated as part of the Lancaster County School District’s proposed budget for 2009-10.

Due to the weak economy and a decrease in state funding, district Finance Director Tony Walker said more than 30 teacher or guidance counselor positions have been cut for next year.
