Deputies charged a Lancaster man twice in one week after an investigation into videos filmed of a juvenile without their knowledge.

Timothy Ward Martin, 42, 1772 Shamrock Ave., was first arrested Dec. 28 on a charge of voyeurism, according to a Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office press release.

The arrest came two days after deputies received a report that Martin had concealed a video camera in a room in an alleged attempt to film a juvenile.

During the investigation, deputies discovered a video of Martin setting up the camera and filming a juvenile without consent, the release said.

According to the sheriff’s office, the video showed the victim in underclothes after getting out of the shower.

Martin was released Dec. 28 on a $20,000 surety bond.

As the investigation continued, investigators obtained search warrants for additional media and located more videos of the juvenile in the shower recorded on another day, the release said.

Martin was then charged with a second count of voyeurism and arrested again Jan. 2.

According to the S.C. Judicial Department website, Martin was also charged with possession of controlled substance during the second arrest.

He was released Jan. 3 on a combined $20,000 surety bond, the sheriff’s office release said.

All three charges remain pending, per judicial records.
