Deputies arrest suspect in church theft

Authorities have arrested the Lancaster man they say stole an air conditioning unit from a church over the summer.
Jessie Lee Dobson, 20, 4609 Cherrystone Road, was arrested Wednesday evening, Oct. 17, and charged with grand larceny $2,000-$10,000.  
Sheriff's deputies say between July 29 and Aug. 2, Dobson stole an air conditioning unit from the outside of New Cut Presbyterian Church, 2617 New Cut Church Road, which is off Camp Creek Road.
