Crolley-Craig Wedding

Doren Marnae Crolley of St. Augustine, Fla., and Joshua David Craig of Sumter were married at 3 p.m. Aug. 17, 2013, at Bethel Baptist Church in Sumter by the Rev. Steve Hendricks.
The bride is the daughter of Gregory and Yoli Crolley of Sumter. She is the granddaughter of Danny and Nancy Crolley and Chad Beckham, all of Lancaster, and the late Margaret Beckham. She is a 2008 graduate of Lakewood High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. She is pursuing a graduate degree in occupational therapy at the University of St. Augustine.
The groom is the son of John and Maria Mims of Sumter. He is the grandson of Jim Pope of Mt. Olive, N.C., and the late Jean Pope and of the late O’Dell and Bessie Mims. He is a 2005 graduate of Crestwood High School and a 2013 graduate of Central Carolina Technical College with an associate’s degree in science. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Rebekah Freeman of Jacksonville, Fla.
Matron of honor was Lindsey Hayden of St. Augustine.
Bridesmaids were Christy Catoe of Lancaster, Rebekah Crolley of Sumter, cousin of the bride, and Mary Geddings of Manning.
Junior bridesmaids were Sullivan Beckham, cousin of the bride, and Aaliyah Craig, niece of the groom.
Best man was Johnny Mims, father of the groom.
Groomsmen were Dolan Crolley, brother of the bride, Will Riggs and Aaron Rogers,  all of Sumter.
Junior groomsman was Cooper Beckham, cousin of the bride.
Flower girl was Railey Hegler, niece of the bride.
Ring bearers were Brennon Hegler, nephew of the bride, and Kameron Miller, nephew of the groom.
Other attendants were Jenna Mims and Allison Riner.
Music was provided by soloist Abbie Geddings and pianist Mark McAbee.
The bride wore a Victorian taffeta mermaid silhouette gown paired with a corset back and a sweetheart neckline, intricately composed with Swarovski crystals. The bodice was accented by gathering of sunburst pleats held in place with beaded embellishment continuing with asymmetrical pleating throughout entire skirt and train.
Her bouquet was a bridal spray of roses, white escimo roses, white calla lilies and white lizzie anthiums surrounded by net rosettes from her grandmother’s bridal veil.
A reception was held at Bethel Family Life Center in Sumter.
After a cruise to Nassau, St. Thomas and St. Maarten, the couple lives in St. Augustine.
