The Columbus Parker Track Club qualified 21 athletes to compete at the AAU National Junior Olympics to be held at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Mich.
The club received 55 awards at the qualifying meet in Columbia, with Tyrek Salley leading the way with 35 points and Makaiah Wallace of Indian Land adding 31 points.
Salley, in the 13-14 boys, won the 3,000-meter race walk and 100 hurdles. He placed third in the discus and was a member of the second-place 4 x 100 relay.
