Almost four years after defeating a motion to institute business licenses in the county, Lancaster County Council is once again discussing the measure.
Councilman Larry McCullough brought the issue to council as a discussion item Monday.
He said several issues developed in the last few weeks, including the problem of tracking businesses within the county.
McCullough said he talked to each council member individually and to the president of the Lancaster County Economic Development Corp., Keith Tunnell, before Monday’s meeting.
