While many people will be watching fireworks this Fourth of July, some others will gather to protest government spending at Lancaster County’s second TEA Party.
Modeled after several other protests being held throughout the United States, Lancaster’s TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party is a forum for residents to protest high taxes and government spending. The event begins at noon Saturday outside the Lancaster County Courthouse. It should last about two hours. Those interested are asked to bring signs and wear a hat reflecting the TEA Party theme.
