Rising insurance costs, potential hikes to the county road fee and elimination of 4-H funds were all ideas hashed out during Lancaster County Council’s special budget workshop Tuesday, May 7.
As council prepares to hear first reading of the county’s fiscal year 2013-14 budget during its Monday, May 13, meeting, several County Council and staff members met to discuss this year’s “big ticket” funding items, as well as options to balance the budget.
