Three new ambulances will be rolling into Lancaster County.
At a special meeting Monday night, County Council voted to accept the low bid of $199,873 from Northwestern Emergency Vehicles, based in North Carolina.
Other bids came in at $205,000 and $212,000, County Administrator Steve Willis said.
The purchase had already been approved in the county’s 2008-2009 budget, but council members still had to vote on which company would supply the vehicles.
